First of all thank you so much for your support. We want to make sure you know how to stay connected with us as we do more events and as other exciting things go on around here.

Some of us are going to be in Thailand and Cambodia for a few weeks in January/February doing research, learning first-hand about the issue of sex trafficking, and gaining a greater vision for Lifted. If you'd like to support us financially please make checks out to North Ridge Church and put "Lifted Trip" in the Memo line. Checks can be sent to ATTN: LIFTED c/o North Ridge Church 7601 Falls of Neuse Rd. Raleigh, NC 27615.

Please let us know if you interested in buying a Lifted Shirt. You can either reply directly to this note in a comment, or send an email to letting us know your size (the newest ones run small) and your address. We'll let you know how to do the money thing too! Shirts are $12 and depending on where you are, you might have to pay a little shipping. All of the proceeds go directly to Remember Nhu (

We've got a sweet new shirt that we are hoping to introduce in the new year, and we'll keep you updated on that. This shirt won't be all about Lifted itself, but will address the issue of sex trafficking.

A few ladies wearing the original Lifted Tee this past summer. Sorry guys, but all of the pics of you were blurry!
We got to share with students in Erie PA in November.

On November 7, were able to serve at Submerge conference in Erie, PA. After a day of intense time in the word and worship, as well as a few athletic tournaments in the afternoon, the LORD sustained the students and their leaders to the point of active engagement during the LIFTED event. That night the students responded in a VERY strong way with their money, and we are trusting that this response is only the beginning of ripples that are to come as the LORD continues moving in hearts.

Serving with our team was pure joy. Saturday night was truly a gift from God. It began with ELECTRIFYING music from Jess Ray and the Rag Tag Army, included a potent & challenging message from Dan Seaman, and ended with some True worship. With aching bodies, tired minds, and full hearts we got home late the next night with even more of a vision of what Lifted is/ can be. Thank you Jesus.

Now just a couple of weeks later, we've already finished filming for our video and are in the midst of planning a trip to Asia in January, an event in Boone in March, and a few other things we'll fill you in on very soon!

From our old Blog

August 3, 2009

This past weekend, we had an opportunity to minister at Clearfork Alliance in Bellville Ohio. I was greatly impacted by Dan's message from John 12:20-29. All around us, there is a cry, though sometimes silent and perhaps it even comes out in the form of bitterness, "we want to see Jesus"

We know the are we going to respond?

The Lord also provided $2250 for Remember Nhu that night. I was brought to tears by the fact that such a small group of people gave to the Lord so selflessly. The fight for justice in these little children's lives is constantly on the forefront of my mind. God's got a hold of my heart and it's continually breaking for the despair around me.

The world is an orphan desperately longing and calling out for a Father.
